Certain public easements were reserved across TEC lands under Section 17(b) of ANCSA to provide access across private Corporation lands to public lands or major waterways.

These easements provide specific access rights only. They do not create a general right to recreate, hunt, fish, camp or otherwise use TEC lands outside the activities and areas specifically authorized by the easement.

Before accessing TEC lands or using a 17(b) easement, visitors should understand where Corporation lands begin and end and what activities are permitted.
