Types of Permits

TEC lands are privately owned.

Non-Shareholders seeking access to TEC lands must follow The Eyak Corporation’s Non-Commercial Public Access Land Use Permit Program, except where access is specifically authorized through an ANCSA 17(b) easement or another approved use.

The permit program helps TEC manage access, protect Corporation property, reduce damage and litter, promote safe use and ensure that access remains consistent with the long-term management of TEC lands.

Required for any overnight camping on corporation lands. Covers designated camping areas only. Fires permitted in established rings only.

Required for all day-use activities including hiking, hunting, and fishing on corporation lands by non-shareholders.

Allows limited personal-use firewood and salvage timber collection. Commercial logging is strictly prohibited under this waiver.
