Shareholder Use & Access
TEC’s goal is to provide Shareholders with broad opportunities to use Corporation lands for appropriate personal and noncommercial activities while protecting the lands and the rights of all Shareholders.
Shareholders may use TEC lands for activities including personal hunting, fishing and gathering, including gathering firewood, subject to applicable TEC policies and state and federal laws.
Permits are generally not required for TEC Shareholders, their immediate family members, or guests when accompanied by a Shareholder for permitted non-commercial uses.
Shareholder use must remain consistent with other authorized activities, respect the rights of other Shareholders and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Bringing Guests
Guests may access TEC lands without a public access permit when they are accompanied by a TEC Shareholder and participating in an allowable non-commercial activity.
Unaccompanied non-Shareholders must obtain the appropriate TEC public access permit. Shareholders cannot authorize independent access for an unaccompanied non-Shareholder.
